Erin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology at the University of Kansas and an Assistant Scientist at the Kansas Geological Survey. Erin’s research integrates concepts from biogeochemistry, watershed hydrology, and ecosystem ecology to understand how water, energy, and nutrients move through watersheds and river networks. She received her B.A. from St. Olaf College and her Ph.D. from Duke University. She is the co-chair of the Non-Perennial Ecosystem chapter of SFS and a member of the Long-Range Planning Committee.
