Anh is a fourth year PhD student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studies greenhouse gas emissions from streams and rivers in the Southeastern US. He came to the US in 2016 and received his BS in Environmental Science in 2020 from Troy University, where he dove headfirst into the field of freshwater ecology and biology. He earned a MS degree in Biology from Towson University, where he examined the long-term impacts of urban development and climate change on stream water chemistry, hydrology, and benthic macroinvertebrate communities. Outside of work, he loves hiking, playing guitar, cooking, baking, and watching college sports.
