Dr. Will Clements is a Professor and Chair of the Undergraduate major in the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Biology at Colorado State University. Dr. Clements’ long-term research projects focus primarily on community responses to and recovery from contaminants and other anthropogenic stressors. He is the author/co-author of two textbooks in ecotoxicology (Community Ecotoxicology and Ecotoxicology: a Comprehensive Treatment) and has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles. At CSU Dr. Clements teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in ecology, experimental design and ecotoxicology and has mentored 37 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Dr. Clements is a Fellow of the Society of Freshwater Science (SFS), chaired the executive committee of SFS in 2001 and has served as an associate editor for Freshwater Science since 1997. Dr. Clements is also active in the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry where he served on the Board of Directors on two occasions and as president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of SETAC in 1994 and 2016.
