I am an aquatic ecologist at the U.S. Geological Survey Forest and Rangeland Ecosystem Science Center. I am interested in pairing biological and physical sciences to understand the structure and function of streams and rivers.  My research focuses on aquatic productivity, water quality, and habitat restoration.  Studies range from reach scale monitoring to global syntheses.
