Dr. Sarah Roley is an Associate Professor in the School of the Environment at Washington State University (WSU). She has expertise in nitrogen, carbon, and phosphorus cycling. She has been a member of SFS for 20 years and has served on the Student Resources Committee, the Constitutional Revisions Committee, the Journal Endowment Committee, and is an Associate Editor for Freshwater Science.

Prior to joining WSU, Dr Roley was a postdoctoral research associate at Michigan State University’s Kellogg Biological Station. She earned a M.S. degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and a B.S. in Biology and B.A. in English from Bemidji State University.
